I Got Attacked By A Dog And Had A Massive

I got attacked by a dog and had a massive hematoma on my bottom it was bigger than a large orange.... One on my cuts has opened up and it's natraly draining out into a pad. When changing the dressing Iv noticed a horrendous chessey smell. Is it was coming out or does it mean its infected?
