I Got Bitten By A Horsefly Yesterday And It Made

I got bitten by a horsefly yesterday and it made my whole arm go numb and I felt like I was going to pass out. I got to work and I work in the healthcare field so I asked a nurse at work to pop it. Cause it looked like a pimple. Was I supposed to pop it or not??? And its still painful to the touch and my feeling in my arm/shoulder came back
