I Got Herpes Six Years Ago. But Recently, I Tried

I got herpes six years ago. But recently, I tried copper sulfate liquid and propolis and it made the herpes much much worse. Could this be because of these treatments? I was tested for HIV and I don't have that yet. Will this go away? Is there anything I can do? Could another std be sent through the mail?
