I Got Hit By A Softball Very Hard On The

I got hit by a softball very hard on the shin - actually not directly on the shin bone, but just to one side. It has swollen about as bad as I've ever seen. I don't think it's broken, but just really swollen. Besides ice, which I'm doing, is there anything else I can do?
