I Got Hit With A Cricket Ball Extremely Hard On

I got hit with a cricket ball extremely hard on my wrist right on the bone, it is slightly swollen with mild pain when I touch it, but when I try to twist my arm there is severe pain, the X-ray didn't show any fracture but the doctor suggested there may be a hairline fracture, what is the likelihood of that??
