I Got My First Depo Shot Around November 20th. I'm

I got my first depo shot around November 20th. I'm scheduled to get my second one around January 30th. I do not want to continue getting the shot so I'm not going to get it. I read that you do not get your period for 8 months to a year. Will I get it sooner because I have only gotten one shot..? Or will it still be 8 months to a year..? Thanks.
