I Got My Lip Split And Needed 11 Stitches On

I got my lip split and needed 11 stitches on outside and two on inside. There is a small amount of dried blood coming from stitches after I sleep. It also has a thin layer of crusty stuff that is stuck around stitches and want to know how to clean it with out damaging any thing.
