I Got My Period Yesterday Usually The First 2 Days

I got my period yesterday usually the first 2 days it's heavy but the first day wasn't it came on and was light and then when I woke up this morning it was heavy a few hours went by and I went to sleep with a fresh pad on woke up and went to the bathroom and it was back as an light period what does this mean
