I Got Nair Hair Removal Cream On The Side Of

I got nair hair removal cream on the side of my vagina by accident. As soon as I noticed I washed it off immediately. It burnt and bled s little but was fine after a few days. Now months later it is burning and inflamed. I put antiseptic cream on it to prevent any infection. Have I damaged anything?
