I Got Poked In The Eye With A Stick While

I got poked in the eye with a stick while pulling a grapevine from a tree, a couple hours ago. It doesn't feel like there is anything in my eye; but, the eyeball seems a little "sore", I am blinking more than usual and my nose won't stop running. My vision does not seemed impaired - covered one eye and then the other - seem the same . No noted drainage from the eye. What is the runny nose about?
