I Got Slapped In The Ear And Now I Can't

I got slapped in the ear and now I can't hear out of that ear. I'm scared the eardrum is blown or something is wrong. It feels like I need to pop my ears and have tried yawning and chewing gum, but nothing. Is this a serious problem or do you think my hearing will come back?
