I Got Stitches On My Vagina After Delivering My Baby

I got stitches on my vagina after delivering my baby normally. Then I had pain while peeing, got myself checked the doc said one stich is not healed n got broken. So it left a gap somewhere down there. The doctor did cauterization with silver nitarte. And it's still hurts whenever I pee. What else could be done to seal the hole/gap left open??
