I Got Stuck In The.upper Leg With A Knife.it Went

I got stuck in the.upper leg with a knife.it went in about an inch deep. After a week of rest I went back to work. I've been cleaning it an have no fever. But my upper leg still hurts an am getting.a very large bruise on the opposite side of the leg an there is some slight swelling as well. Should I be looked at by a doc or is this normal for the upper leg to do this
