I Got Stung By Something In The Garden And Had

I got stung by something in the garden and had intense severe pain and went to emergency and there the DR. blocked it on my right middle finger. it stopped the intense pain, thank God. next day still swollen. I didn't start taking the antibiotics till this last Sunday. it is rigid swollen, no severe pain but at the tip of my finger it is looking brused and skin puffed out with like a balloon. what to do now? go back to see the Dr. or keep icing it? it is very sensitive at the tip and the other day it was itching like crazy. Will the antibiotics help at this point?
