I Got The Depo Provera Shot About A Month Ago,

I got the depo provera shot about a month ago, and have started to have symptoms of depression (likely a side effect). I want to try taking st john's wort supplements to see if it helps, but I've heard it can reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives. Will this happen with the depo shot?
