I got the implenon birth control two years ago.. Lasg month the rod itself was very itchy under the skin. It just started tk get itchy again and I have learned to try and leave it alone when it itches or hurts. I lifted my sleeve and there was a quarter sized lump near but not directly on top of the insert place. It is swelling as we speak
