I Got The Nexplanon Implant About A Month And A

I got the nexplanon implant about a month and a half ago. A few days ago it all of a sudden bruised and was very tender. Today my cousin wanted to feel it and when I touched it, it is down my arm in a diagnol position. A string like thing is in the place where it was inserted. Is this normal?
