I Got Two Small Insect Bites On My Leg Yesterday

I got two small insect bites on my leg yesterday (3/8"). I never felt anything, they have a red center with a purple ringed circumference. I sharpied them and they haven't changed size at all and I've had no symptoms frm them. What the heck bite me? Oh I live in the San Fran Bay Area. Thx
