I Guess This Will Be A Digestive Question. I Don't

I guess this will be a digestive question. I don't have bowel movements for days on end, six days at last count. Never thought much of it until my last physical where my bilirubin levels are "a little high" from the blood test. Is this bowel movement issue possibly causing the bilirubin levels to run high? What advice is there to get regular bowel movements beyond laxatives. I'm not a medication type person.
