I Had 3 Days Of Severe Diarrhea, Generalized Achiness, No

I had 3 days of severe diarrhea, generalized achiness, no fever. This morning the diarrhea seems to be resolved, but I awoke with large, raised red patches on my face. Are these two symptoms somehow connected to any specific syndrome or known disease?
