I Had C-diff Four Years Ago. Severe Diarrhea Started After

I had C-diff four years ago. Severe diarrhea started after 10 days of amoxicillin 500mg(given to me by my dentist). It was like a colonoscopy prep! I became very weak very quickly and could not drive my own car after 48 hours. I was hospitalized the third day and spent seven days/nights in hospital. I was given vancomycin and did not have a repeat occurrence. My question is: after four years if I need to take antibiotics, how likely is it that I develop c-diff again? Is there any data on this?
