I Had ITP And As A Result Had My Spleen

I had ITP and as a result had my spleen removed. I've been on a course of prednisolone and am being weaned off it (in fact, my last pill is being taken in about half an hour). I can already feel my muscles tightening and aching. As part of the spleen removal, I've been put on a long term (approx 3 years) of amoxicillin. Now that the spleen has been removed and my platelets are no longer low, is it safe for me to take ibuprofen to help with the muscle pain?
