I Had Mohs Surgery On The Top Of My Head

I had Mohs surgery on the top of my head 3 months ago. The site was healing quite well, but now is a bit tender and bumpy. If it is the internal stiches causing this, do I just leave it alone or should I see my surgeon for a follow up. I am a 56 year old male.
