I Had Soreness On The Right Side Of My Neck.

I had Soreness on the right side of my neck. It was there for two 1/2 weeks. Some days it was worst the other. During that time a had my left Ankle swell..took two Aleve. Next day swelling was gone. Took two Aleve last nite. Neck better today. The Swelling is back in the Left Ankle. What could this be?
