I Had A Foley Catheter Put In On Wed For

I had a Foley catheter put in on wed for undiagnos d urinary retention. The catheter is draining fine but I feel enormous pressure like I have to pee and am experiencing severe. Burning. I have appt on Tues but don't know if I should be alarmed because of symptoms.
