I Had A Nerve Conduction Study Test Done On Both

I had a Nerve Conduction Study Test done on both of my legs.The Dr that did the test said that it seemed to be in my lower back on my left side.All I was told to do by my medical Dr nurse over the phone was they were setting me up for Physical Therapy.No MrI was done .Will this correct the problem?
