I Had A Bilateral Mastectomy One Month Ago. Two Weeks

I had a bilateral mastectomy one month ago. Two weeks ago had DVT in calf of leg and put on xarelto. I started my period last week on Saturday and by Thursday it had stopped. On Thursday my surgeon put me on bactrim as there is a spot on the breast not healing. On Friday my period started again with severe cramps, heavy bleeding, and large clots. I called and have an appointment on Monday morning but am wondering if I should stop the xarelto. I have noticed that the cramps and discharge becomes much worse within an hour of taking the meds. So two questions, stop the xarelto tonight and tom morn until I see Dr? And can the surgeon fix the spot in the OR while I am taking xarelto or will that cause even more issues?
