I Had A Biopsy Taken On My Hand And Have

I had a biopsy taken on my hand and have found out it is bowen's disease but the site of the biopsy feels like it is burning at times even though I have followed the doctors instructions for aftercare. How can I stor the burning and do I need to worry?
