I Had A Bit Of Fever Yesterday From Something I

I had a bit of fever yesterday from something I have been fighting for about a week. When I woke up this morning I have what looked like a blood blister on my lower right eyelid, about the size of a nickle (looks like I have a black eye from a punch). I think it may be a burst blood vessel possibly caused by the fever? Is this possible, or should I be concerned about other things. There is no pain or swelling. Thanks.
