I Had A Bite On My Buttocks And Then It

I had a bite on my buttocks and then it started getting really itchy to the point where I was scratching it raw & it was bleeding. Similar to mosquito bites but I don't think that is what it is. Also checked for bed bugs & don't see any signs. What is this ?
