I Had A Bladder Infection Which Was Being Treated At

I had a bladder infection which was being treated at VA hospital. They told me the infection was cleared but I was still experiencing pain when urinating. They prescribed something that was supposed to relieve the pain but turned my urine reddish. So I went to my previous, private physician. He took a urine specimin and prescribed bactum. Pain is gone but he told me that traces of blood were found in urine sample. Suggested I see a urologist.I returned to VA with this info, but they want to wait until I've finished my medication. They said the meds would skew a urinalysis. I felt they should've taken a urine sample. What's your opinion? I am using a community computer and do not have individual e-mail.
