I Had A Blood Clot About Ten Years Ago, Since

I had a blood clot about ten years ago, since then I have had the odd pain in the same place in my groin where the clot was, but the past few weeks it has become permanent and causing me problems walking, is it anything to be concerned about?, I know its not another clot as I know the signs, thank you
