I Had A Blood Panel For STDs Because I Am

I had a blood panel for STDs because I am a boomer and was told I should be tested for HepC. So I was automatically tested for HIV, herpes, etc. All the tests turned out fine, except the RPR titer results for syphilis were 1:1. I don't see how I could possibly have syphilis, given my sexual history.

My doctor said many RPR tests come back with a false positive titre score of 1:1, but I am nevertheless scheduled for a follow-up test. Is this cause for concern?
