I Had A Bug Bite Of Some Sort On My

I had a bug bite of some sort on my index finger that filled with a clear liquid. It was bothering me and so I popped it, not before sterilizing the area so it wouldn't get infected. Immediately it started bleeding but the blood just replaced the liquid, so now there is just a swell of blood on my index finger... Will it get infected? And what do I do from here?
