I Had A C-section 8 Days Ago And Since Then

I had a c-section 8 days ago and since then I cant walk using my left leg because it is numb from my knee down and swollen. I had an MRI done and was told everything is fine and that it will go aww on its own. How true is that? I had never had a c-section and it worries me bec I cant care for my kids like I should.
