I Had A Case Of Sudden Projectile Vomiting Up Of

I had a case of sudden projectile vomiting up of black vomit last night. I had had a headache and an upset stomach but no other symptoms. The vomiting caught me completely by surprise. I am concerned about why it would be black considering the fact that I had had very little to eat and nothing dark colored. I only threw up the one time but still feel chilled and sickly today. Should I see the doctor and if so, can I schedule an appointment tomorrow?
