I had a chiropractic neck adjustment around 6:45 pm. I was dizzy immeadiately and told the Dr. I was. I told him I thought it was BPPV since I have had it before, as recently as May of this year. When I sat up, the dizziness was worse. I tried the Epley Maneuver immediately, but after three tries, I vomited. I was preparing to leave his office and I vomited again. I couldn't walk without holding on to something so I had friends drive me and my car home. I sat in a recliner for about two hours, felt a little better, than I ate some cooked vegetables. I neede to go to the restroom so my husband supported me and I walked there. I wanted to go to bed, nearing 12:00 so I tried the Epley again. I was so dizzy after the attempt, I vomited again, then again a few minutes later. I never moved and stayed in the same position I was in at the end of the Epley. My husband helped me dress for bed but I was uncomfortable sitting and didn't think I could lay down so he helped me walk to the living room where I have been for almost two hours. I took a Zofran and have felt a strange, sharp burning pain in my throat since I last vomited. It is the hardest I have ever vomited, but I am 59 now, so it just may be getting harder. I have never vomited with BPPV, nor have I been unable to walk, drive or dres myself. I considered going to the ER, but I am researching on the net so my exhausted husband can get a little sleep, in case I do go to the ER. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
