I Had A Colonoscopy 2 Years Ago. It Came Back

I had a colonoscopy 2 years ago. It came back showing no polyps. Dr. said I had internal hemmorhoids and slight diverticulitus. Now occassionally I will get burning pain in that anal area (inside) including blood. It will bother me for a couple of days and then go away. What could this be and do I need another colonoscopy
