I Had A Copper Iud Removed On February 3rd. My

I had a copper iud removed on February 3rd. My last period began on Jan 23. I ovulated on feb 6. I am always a 28 days cycle. I am a week late. I have took several home pregnant test and they are negative. I had a blood test done yesterday and the doc says negative. Could it be wrong? When I had my daughter 11 yrs ago my first month my period was late and the home test read negative and I had a period. Then the second month I was late the home test barely had a faint two lines. I was already 8 weeks when it showed up.It I be doing the same thing again?
