I Had A Cortisone Injection 12weeks Ago Definitely Increased Pain

I had a cortisone injection 12weeks ago definitely increased pain had a collapsed disc 2years ago stil having trouble in back so consultant now suggests steroid. Injection into joints now I think I need MRI even though had1 in July 2016 which showed slight bulge on disk again worried about having more injection so soon
