I Had A Cortisone Shot In My Elbow Last Thursday

I had a cortisone shot in my elbow last Thursday evening. It is Monday and during the day at work I noticed a sharp discomforting pain in my elbow that felt somewhat warm that would come and go during the day . When I took a shower tonight I see that my elbow has a large bruise at the injection location. What should I do?
