I Had A Course Of Rabies Vaccinations Before Flying To

I had a course of rabies vaccinations before flying to Egypt. 1 year and a half later I have been attacked by a stray dog. There isn't any open wounds, no blood...just a bruise. Do i need any further vaccinations? The doctor here said I should take a course of injections just in case. But they are hard to get here. I would like to know your opinion, do i need anything or will my previous course protect me?
