I Had A Cyst On My Nose 20 Yrs Ago

I had a cyst on my nose 20 yrs ago that I tried popping on my own. I know ridiculous right? After many days of picking at this it finally popped but seemed to do so under the skin. It seemed to have gone away, however, now 20 yrs later it is sore, slightly inflamed and there is a thick almost rubbery substance that comes out. What in the world is this?
