I Had A Cyst That Developed Into An Absess And

I had a cyst that developed into an absess and is now a fistula opening to the skin immediately above my penis. Went to a dermatologist to lance and drain it, was on antibiotcs. Now have been rinsing with peroxide and saline an using antibiotic cream, but in the last few days it's become inflamed and is periodically bleeding in small amounts. Is this normal for a small fistula?
