I Had A Deep Tissue Massage Performed On My Back

I had a deep tissue massage performed on my back a few months ago. When the massage therapist went over a certain spot (below scapula), it felt like she was going over a marble. The pain was excruciating and on both sides, but predominantly the right. I've tried self-myofacial release, however I have trouble getting on the spot.

What are your thoughts as to what it can be? Any ideas as to what I can do to get rid of it? I still have trouble with this marble feeling, even though the massage took place nearly six months ago.
