I Had A Dentisl Cleaning This Week N I Mentioned

I had a dentisl cleaning this week n I mentioned that my tongue feel like it was burnt n she stated that it was a hormone thing that can cause this n to use therabreath to help with this. How long should I wait to see my dr. On this? Or should it take to see results? Or what I may do myself?
