I Had A Echocardiogram And I Have A Diseased Valve

I had a echocardiogram and I have a diseased valve I did have a mild heart attack 7 months ago had an angiogram no blockage stress and hypertension related ,but my doctor has put my name in to see a cardiologist specialist I have been waiting 5 months to see I'm just worried that this diseased valve is going to get worst in the meantime,but my doctor said it would be a long time before it gets really bad ,well I still worry about that ,what do you think
