I Had A Fistula In Ano Operation Yesterday That Was

I had a fistula in ano operation yesterday that was laid open and a seton stitch inserted. I went to see a nurse today to re pack the wound but she said this was not necessary and to use pads / gauze and a jug of salt water to clean the area after going to the toilet... does this sound correct? I have read that antibiotics should be prescribed and that the wound should be redressed?
