I Had A Heart Catherization And It Was Done Through

I had a heart catherization and it was done through my wrist. I have partial numbness and pain from my wrist up into my thumb and pointer finger. When it was done I did feel the incision made for the procedure, could my nerve of been cut and what type of test would I nedd to determine.
