I Had A Hemi Thyroidectomy 2 Years Ago And Ever

I had a hemi thyroidectomy 2 years ago and ever since have had regular bloodwork and adjustments to my thyroid medication. Presently, I am on 1.75 mg. of synthroid per day. I have continued to express to my family physician ongoing fatigue, poor sleep, mild depression and frequently tenderness and swollen lump in the centre and to the immediate right side of my larnyx. When I asked why this persists he said 'How would I know?'. I live in a city without an endrocrinologist but would travel to see one if referred but he doesn't see the need. Is there any suggestions which might help?
